Quick question:
When selling a boat and trailr it is up to the seller to just make sure the buyer gets the trailer rgistration papers, and a bill of sale for the boat? Is this all which is required?
Thanks
nedarb
Seller must sign over the trailer & give the buyer a copy of the
insurance papers for same.
If the boat is licenced, a copy should also be provided to the buyer.
bill of sale can/should be provided which proves ownership and
will help when insuring and licensing.
Don't gime them the whole registration papers, just the little part that rips off is all you need. It has all the info of the trailer and such without giving over your personal info.
