Prawn oil

ok what brand of prawn oil does everybody use. I used the stuff from Nikka and ran out last year and they are no longer in business, so just wondering what you use

Did you try going to pacific net and twine, they probably have the same stuff

I've never used a prawn oil does it make a big difference?

All the difference!!! i let the pellets soak in oil for a week prior to prawning. Always out fishes bait without oil!

I'm a little scared to open my pellets from last year. Looks like something is growing in there.

unless you clean them perfectly , de-vein , your eatin that mold !!

Haha I’m not going to use those pellets. Just posting to show what pellets turn into when not used for 4-5 months.

I don' use oil anymore but I used to buzz up pro cured salmon roe in a blender with cheap canola oil and use that. It looked like pepto but it worked lol

Use Totem brand fish fertilizer mixed with some regular oil to make it less viscous.
