So I'm trying to convince myself to bring my boat to Pedder bay in mid August, have never fished there. I'm not asking for your secret spots, depths or lures, anyone have any tips they would like to share?

My question would be why ?
nothing wrong with Pedder, nice launch, facilities, camping.
fishing would likely be so/so compared to WCVI.
In your boat you could run west to Sooke, Otter, Sheringham.
Anchovies ,hootchies and spoons all work. {when there's fish around)
60-120' , but I'm no expert.

Right on you will have a good time. I will pm you. I lot of the spots in this area fish differently based on currents. It's not difficult. East or west or good that time of of uear.Make sure though Gary you time it our right. The Sviac jdf will be in august at that marina. So make sure you don't book then unless you want to go in it. Will be very busy there. You have the boat to go exploring and I know your used to long bank runs. It's not like that here. Very short runs from here even to the west.
