Pedder Bay Area prawnig?

Hey guys,
Heading to pedder bay/ sooke for a few days of fishy fishy fishy. Don't know anything about prawns in the area. Anything out there? Ideas, thoughts?

your going to need an anchor for the traps. Some folks do Prawn out there but not many due to the currents.

Yikes! ok, got it. Not much for prawns. maybe crabbing...?

if you leave from pedder bay marine, youll see a bunch of crab traps just as your getting out of the channel. drop them with the reastof them. some time you get crab in your trap some time others get crab from your traps...
