Just found out a friends wife was one of the victims. They moved from Whitehorse to Nova Scotia. Both of them are cancer survivors and some ******* phsyco shot her while she was out for a walk.

Geez man that’s horrible.

Say her name.

This guy has some very good points sums up the failure a little.
RIP to those who lost their lives except for one of them.

This guy is a fracking stupid dick and is an embarrassment to Saskatchewan.
Shameful video, I could only watch 2min and knew it was a train wreck.
What is wrong with people? Don't they know it's time for grief and healing.
There will be plenty of time to sort out what went wrong but until then we focus on the victims and their families.
This is the worst mass shooting in Canadian history and this frackup wants to go after the RCMP.
What's next, take a survey on gun ownership?
Wow just frackin wow.
Yea give me you RIP that helps. Send thought and prayers. That will help. /sarc off

"legislate new powers for municipalities to enact their own restrictions on handguns" well there's more $ for lawyers for more court cases and a threat to gun owners. Maybe they can somehow outlaw illegal guns - that's where the problem is. Wait a minute - they did that already - and criminals don't listen.

If they are truly serious they would cut-off the flow of illegal guns from down South - and maybe institute public notices sooner and loose the bureaucracy.

It's all about optics. They don't know, and they don't care. They'll outlaw AR's, then, when that doesn't produce any results they'll come for handguns. Do not doubt for a minute they take away everything except hunting rifles. It's all about appeasing gun haters. There are a lot of gun haters in Canada. Did you hear the head of the Maritimes RCMP call a license an FAC. There is a real lack of knowledge amongst the so called experts and very little data made available to the general public on what causes most gun crime in the country. Why doesn't every gun related crime report indicate whether it's a registered owners gun legally obtained in Canada, a Canadian stolen gun or an illegally purchased US gun?

Out of respect to the victims and their families we are not going to have this turn into a debate about gun control here. This was an awful tragedy perpetrated by a human being that clearly had lost his way to the point that he no longer had any humanity left in him. Let's let the victims rest in peace.
