North Peace hunting trip

I am looking in to hunting up in the north Peace region 7B for moose during the first week of October.
I want to make the most out of my trip and do some river fly fishing as well.
Looking to stay south of the Liard river watershed but may be enticed to venture further out.
Any suggestions on great rivers. Tumbler ridge and chetwynd area puts me in rifle season still and want to be somewhat out of the busy areas.
I greatly appreciate your opinions and thank you in advance

Because the Ag zone is closed to rifle hunting for the first 2 weeks of Oct, the out lying areas get way more pressure. Tough to find a place away from the crowd.

Check out the upper Halfway, Chawade below the bridge and the Graham. They will also be busy with hunters, but the fishing can be good. Further north, the upper Beatton, Buckinghorse and Sikanni R all have great fishing and less hunters. Access can be tough though.

Cheers
