Nog's Needle???

What is the proper hook orientation on Nog's Needles? Or does it matter?

What about the small flapper spoon that gets attached at the hook split ring? Orientation? Effectiveness?



Here are the blank lures that I painted. The iPhone camera sucks for shooting chrome.
