Wanted to mount a 9.9 kicker on the Hydra Sports, they had no options for additional power like this. Purchased an engine, steering ram and helm pump, did a whole pile of measuring! Welded up my own bracket, had a company in Edmonton powder coat it for me (this is a very good coating), mounted it on my starboard platform and installed the engine on it.
Cut and bent aluminum plate for the steering ram arms and mount, purchased a nice wheel from King Fisher, Installed the engine controls and helm on my table.
Tested it at Cold Lake on the long weekend..all works GREAT.
Ready for Campbell River in a week.
