This Monday (24[SUP]th[/SUP]) the T’Souke First Nation presented their oral testimony to the NEB hearings at the Victoria Conference Centre. Other First Nations are presenting this week and the proceeding may be listened to live here:-

Notwithstanding the hearings, the whole NEB process is heavily rigged in favour of the proponents as clearly outlined by Marc Eliesen the former CEO of BC Hydro, when he described the whole process as “a farce”. The full text of his letter to NEB chair can be read here:-

For the reasons he has so eloquently described, most people in BC have lost faith in the Federal NEB process. We want BC to pull out of the equivalency agreement and pursue a made in BC project assessment process.
