Hey Guys,

Just as a general consensus....how do you like trying to get to the most recent post?
I have noticed a few things. Take this thread as an example as it has a decent number of posts.

 • When I clicked on this thread the first time it took me to post #18 when clicking the "Title" (I am pretty sure)
 • Second time I click on it with NO new posts in it, I go to post #1.
 • There is also a little red box that appears sometimes at post #1 of a thread that states "Go To First Unread". It seems like it disappears on your second time visiting the thread but not positive.
Am going to try and figure this out tonight when maybe a few more threads have been updated and see when/why/how it changes.

K....."first unread" is starting to work a bit more reliably.

Chris/Brian.....can a button be created from the forum page that would direct someone to "Go to Last Post" or something like that as opposed to just clicking on the time of the last post?

I now see when viewing a general FORUM view....for example in this forum of Questions/Comments I see that if you click the "Time" which is showing WHEN the latest post was it will take you directly to it.

That seems easy enough although first time users may miss it without a button there. Not sure if it can be changed or a feature to add a button?

Also....when just revisiting a thread you've viewed a few times and you're actually IN the THREAD a "go to last post" button may be a good options if that is in fact something the guys can customize?

That seems to be the best way to get to the last post
no quote function unless you reply with the entire post ?

I think if you just click Reply it quotes your entire post which I just replied to. I just deleted out the other part.

See where the smaller "Reply" is next to the post number on the far right of a post? Click that and it will quote.
Ok that works

(sort of)
You deleted one square bracket and some text that denotes the quoted info.

Just hit reply again but can see where somehow you deleted a bracket and some info...bolded above. Kind of an identifier to preclude the quote.

See how mine looks below? I did add a space so that is displays to show what you deleted. Compare the identifier info by the first quote up in red and then you'll see below.

better now

Getting to the most recent post is critical...glad you guys figured it out with the time, that'll be tricky first time around.

Hey Fellas,

When one is on the "Main" forum page looking at all the different forums.....is it possible to have it so that when you click the "time" when looking at the view below it would take you straight to the last post in the last thread? Once you go into one of the forums clicking the time takes you to the last post but from the main forum page there isn't a hyperlink to take you there? I have outlined where I mean, it would just make it more consistent.

****EDIT***** Just tried it with a thread with a lot of posts in it and NOW see that if you click on the thread name itself it will take you to the last post.
