Mid March on Van Isle?

Hey there guys,
Going to be fishing for a week in mid March on the Island. Where would one go to get into some decent winter springs or hali's at that time. Options are the Campbell river area, Pedder Bay/Sooke areas or maybe out of Bamfield.
What are your thoughts guys?
Any thoughts and suggestions are much appreciated!

Thanks!

Victoria and Sooke area for sure. Both great winter springs and Hali at that time and decent waters to fish at that time.

My buddy lives in CR but we're not limited to that area. Did Pedder bay last year and would go back, just wanted to hear other ideas.
Thanks!

Pedder is a great outpost as you can go West to Sooke and East to Victoria...including a run to Constance Bank you can also fish Pedder Bay itself if the winds pick up unexpectedly.. just stay the F* away from Race Rocks if its sloppy out :)

Have fun!

Weather and open waters in March is the issue with other areas. The south Island is one of the few places in BC where you can safely and easily fish hali and do well that early in the year.
