So my guess would be it’s a North Coast reel with a Luhr-Jensen badge

I’ve heard some good things about them so far. Large arbour, loud clicker and very smooth.

Price seems about right for this Reel.

Pendlington is bring a few up this summer when we shoot the show early July. I’m looking forward to putting them to the test.

I've been testing the Luhr Jensen mooching reel along with other Pro Staff since May 2018 and it's performed great without any issues. Large 5" arbor, formed EVA foam handles feel great, and drag holds securely at all depths. It's a nice mid range mooching reel, good value.

It's definitely NOT a Rapala North Coast reel, obviously that was a big blunder many years ago, and that spring issue was rectified on all reels since then.

If you're looking for something new and different, give the new Luhr Jensen reel a shot!
