Hi all, new member but have been lurking here a long time...
Just looking for some advice.
I have a HDS Gen2 non touch that occasionally doesn’t see radar when powering up.
Radar is LRA-1800, and is hard wired to batt switch, HDS is removed from boat after a trip, and has yellow wake up wire connected to the radar.
The radar makes a noise after about 10 seconds with the batt switch on, then usually I am plugging in the HDS and powering it up.
Problem is sometimes I get a no radar message, and it doesn’t matter if I pull the fuse for the radar or turn on/off the HDS.
Only sure fire way has been a hard reset and then it’s golden. Not sure if I have it wired correctly? Any advice or experience welcome!
