I need some help just got a standard gx1000s dsc and want to hook it into my lowrance lms-480 where do I hook the dsc wires to the sounder gps. is it the blue plug thats got nothing on it thanks
Sockets with blue socket nuts, and cable plugs with blue locking
collars are NMEA 2000 connection types. The NMEA 0183 Data Cable
can transmit NMEA position data to another device.
It reads NMEA, so no adapter should be needed! You can use connectors or just splice it in. You may need a compatible plug for the GPS? I didn't look!
Make sure your "baud" rate is set corrrectly!
Purple is NMEA "in" - connect it to NMEA "output" on GPS
Blue is NMEA "out" - connect it to NMEA "input" on GPS
Green is the NMEA ground - connect that to the "ground" on the GPS.
