    Just saw on her Twitter from 2hrs ago she was being briefed by one of the DFO leads, should be something soon I hope

    I don’t think we will hear anything today as it does not look like there is a formal news briefing scheduled.

    She said earlier this week there would be an announcement today regarding fraser river salmon and communities affected by it etc

    The fact it's possibly coming out late on a Friday is not a good sign

    Talked to a contact at SFI this evening. They had not heard anything about the announcement yet.

    Probably wait for us to buy new licenses, make plans and reservations then hit us with a coast wide closure(re-allocation).
