Kicker mount and radar arch

I,m looking for a new kicker mount for a 23 ft hourston with a flybridge. It has to be the type that goes on a swim grid. There was a post some where that a guy in the Victoria area made them, but can't seem to find it.
I'm also looking for ideas for a radar arch or mount for a fly bridge. If it is a arch it would have to fold down for trailering around.
The radar will be a lowrance hd unit, I am told that they can be mounted low so that if you were sitting in the flybridge it could be mounted at the same level as the windshield. Any comments or ideas on that type of set-up?
I know that the higher it is the better, I'm just looking for any thoughts, ideas,cost savings. Would like to do this right the first time.

Hey Casper,

The Lowrance "Broadband" units can be mounted low -- the HD units have to be mounted above your head otherwise you've be microwaving your brain. Broadband units are very low power -- claim to be less than a cell phone where the HD units are just traditional high power radar with a fancy name.

The guy with the kicker brackets posts on Used Victoria quite a bit.

thanks Tenmile thanks for the post.I thought he was on Usedvictoria but couldn't find his add. The add for the arch is expired. Yes it is the broardband radar that I will be getting not HD, I was thinking HDS.

I shopped around for along time looking for a good quality arch at a decent price the link below is the best I found me and my buddy bought arch's from him and are very happy. Mine is not installed yet but when it is I could send you pics. My buddy has put his on and it looks great!!!
