Jigging Jaw Jacker vs Dad Ice Fishing Red

Ice fishing with my Dad and put out the Jigging JawJacker to try first thing in AM. Caught a bunch of brook trout and rainbow trout with the device before I was even set up to fish. Some decent fish, but nothing huge on this particular day. My Dad was enjoying using the Rapala Slab Rap in perch color. The fish really seem to attack this pattern when they are aggressive.

I usually use tungsten jigs with my JawJacker and on our jigging rods I typically use spoons. If the fish are not aggressive I downsize and slow the presentation down.

Looks like a great day of fishing , I made a couple jackers , did you find yours local ?

I've been using JawJackers since before they were popular and I was still living in the USA. So I order them from the guy who makes them. He has an online store. www.jawjackerfishing.com, They also sell them from the Canadian Distributor online http://tackleshack.ca/jawjacker-ice-fishing-tip-up-canada/ on sale right now for $34.99. Wow that's the cheapest I've seen them in Canada. Also Cabelas sells them. I think they go on sale there sometimes for $39.99. I've seen them at times at the Abbotsford Cabelas. Thats the only place i've ever seen them on the shelf in BC. Most places in Alberta sell them in store.
