Brothers/Sistas Insurance question for you. I,m not really happy with my present insurer (Beacon-Loyds of L). I pay $450 for a 19.5' that I keep on my property for 5 months and at Oak Bay Marina for 7 months.
Does anyone like one Co. better than the next? Appreciate the feedback.

That price doesn't seem out of line.They don't care whether you keep it at home part of the year (as I do),your still covered based on the value of your boat for the full year.Cristie-Phoenix has been good for me.

we are happy with Beacon. full coverage while at home is a good deal. you are paying just over a buck a day for piece of mind.

I’ve had the worst service imaginable from kelly Reynolds /beacon/premier

Would not recommend her

6 calls and emails to attempt to start a claim and zero service

1% of the value of your boat is a good baseline for annual boat insurance.

I pay considerably more than $450 through Premier for a 17’. What agreed values are folks using?

I have beacon. First claim ever and it was painful 2 1/2 months but they came through in the end for me. Money well spent imo
