Insurance premiums sky rocketing...

Well hope they are wrong but just got off the phone with the people who insured our camper van last year. Our optional insurance (ICBC portion already paid) went from $450 to over $1100. I have called around and the cheapest I can find optional insurance for is $850.

The woman said that all the premiums are up. I asked her about our boat coverage and she stated that boats have gone up as well. I hate to see what the boat insurance comes in at...

It's going to depend on who the overwriters are of your insurance company. If they were anyway involved with the wildfires in California this year they took a huge hit and will be looking to recoup money.
