Installing Seastar bulkhead hose.

I am rigging up my outboard on a pod for the first time and have Seastar helm and outboard motor cylinder mounted. Is the Seastar Bulkhead hose the way to go if I am going thru the transom? Some rigging uses fixed bulkhead fittings with separate hoses from the transom to the outboard.
Just curios if anyone has any experience with either set up? Thanks!

I am installing the bulkhead hose fittings that come integrated on the hose. I used them on my last boat and they were no problem. if you use separate bulkheads there are two issues.

1) If you have a thick transom you might find it hard to find a fitting long enough
2) that's 4 extra connection points in your system that you could have avoided. I my opinion when it comes to hydraulics the fewer connection the better
