Inexpensive Self Inflating Life Raft

The wife is keen to do some prawning this winter but would feel safer bringing baby out if we had a backup plan. The tender is too cumbersome to lug around. Anyone come across anything reasonable? Doesn't need to have lights and full cover or be able to handle 15 foot seas either.

Note: Last inspected 2003. To re-certify, if at all possible, will not be cheap. Until you service it and re-certify it you're just hauling around what may very well be an expensive paperweight/rock. And you won't know until you need it in an emergency and you pull the actuator cord and ... ???

You can get brand new basic inshore rafts for $1000 to $1500 if that's what you want for crabbing.

That's perfect. I'm not sure why I couldn't find that one when I searched.
I too was wondering about the inspection thing. Thanks again for your wisdom BCI!
