In the market for Sonar unit

Hi guys,

Sniffing around garages and basement bins of the members for a Fishfinder unit and transducer. With HC selling hook7s at a ridiculously low price, and Christmas coming up, I'm hoping to capitalize on someone's older unit that just came out of their boat. (mine is from 2004 so anything is better )

Hoping to find something around the 7" size, but interested to see what's out there!

I got a hds7 gen 2, it would make a good sonar unit only or hooked up to a network as a second screen. The internal GPS in it only works when it feels like it

I have a good GPS / radar system, so I'm OK with that.

I have a Garmin 7" you can have ,but it's 2004 vintage too.

I see Gen2 non-touch units for sale on ebay for ~$500CAD. I presume they are fully functional.

LOL yup. I guess they're trying to sell to those whose units done broke?
