Not the first time I’ve heard of this but first time seeing a picture of one. Very strange!

There was a time where people thought that these hybrids were not capable of reproduction. Clearly that has been proved wrong

Very interesting research. I'm going to start examining the scale patterns of some fish. Got a few Chinook this summer that had very odd tail markings, but I did not closely examine the scale pattern along the lateral line.
