I bought an old boat in Washington in January. I went in last week to get insurance on the trailer before next week's derby in Bamfield...I did not realize the insurance agent needs to see the VIN sticker on the trailer prior to insuring an import (wasn't like that 3 years ago). Of course the sticker on my trailer is no longer legible.
Tuesday just before closing I went in to BCAA and filled out the paperwork for the BC assigned VIN, I called the ICBC office in Vancouver Wednesday morning letting them know I was in a bit of a rush...I just got a call from Canadian Tire informing me that my new VIN sticker is at their store ready for installation!
