The Missuz insists this gets done before I can go play with whitetails:

Tree gets done upon my return.

How about you?

Wondering...

We put our lights up on Sunday. I typically refuse to put them up until December but wanted to take advantage of nice weather. I’ll grab a tree this weekend. $40 for a 6’ fir tree from Home Depot! What kind of crap is this?!?

Late archery season in the OK.
My partner & his Family are overly cautious about The Bug.
As are we. We are all healthy and have been since this show started.
We will not be personally engaging with anyone else.
Only stops for fuel - gloved & masked.
Already booked for top deck tomorrow's first ferry.

Good luck out there and safe hunting.

Nice job, Nog. I usually put the lights up after the Remembrance Day just out of respect to our veteran neighbours but this year I’ve been slammed at work. Planning to do this weekend.

Good luck!

My wife loves xmas and has me working the day remembrance day. This year we added cousin eddy to the front. "Sorry Clark, the ******* is full".

I leave my lights up also. I only bring out decorations. Like you I replace a few every couple years but that's it

Put them up early November before it snows. Light up December 1st.

I just put ours up...first time since we moved to Ladysmith. It's festive but it ate my two boatbuilding hours after work!

But then I took the little guy outside after it got dark and his mind was BLOWN. Worth it.
Best part of Christmas is having little ones around.....I totally miss that.

Yeah I had become fairly immune to Christmas cheer but am now very excited about it...this year I don't think my kid will get it exactly but I'm already looking forward to next year and seeing his little face light up.

How did you make out archery hunting in the OK. Didn’t make it this year myself. That’s where I grew up and that’s what I lived for. Love chasing whiteys with the string and stick.
