Yes Victoria's beloved Goldstream is being targeted by the commercial fleet. Saanich inlet will soon be open to a commecial fishery on Goldstream bound fish which are very far and few between and are running late which a fishy like that could easily whipe out a run that has slowly been making a come back. The local native band says they will not let this happen no matter what! Interesting to see what will come of this. Why is DFO so interested in keeping fisherman happy and #%$#ing up crucial small creek runs along the coast.
