Give u hope for the Thompson River

Good news storey so hopefully someday the same is possibly in store for our famous Thompson steelhead.
Fix the habitat, get the nets out of the migratory paths and maybe just maybe in my lifetime Mother Nature will get it done for us.
 
In many ways the Elwha is the ideal river for restoration with the overwhelming majority of it and its headwaters and tribs being in a national park.

historically prolific salmon river - should see Chinook numbers pick up as we get into second generations post dam removal.
 
So, how does this fit with poor ocean survival? Are Elwa steelhead smarter than Gold River steelhead?
