We have had the little bugger's buzzing around for weeks.
I know how to make a trap, but really this early ?

I may be wrong, and don't be insulted. But clean out all the traps under your sinks. It can be a breeding ground. Happened to me. Clean traps/NO FLIES.

No. I had them in winter as well.

Ok. We get fungus gnats in/around the potted plants in the winter in the Okanagan. Lots of fruit flies later on.
