Forum Testing: Issues?

is there somewhere in the settings where we can set how many posts to view?
for Instance when I click on "new Posts" I get six pages but with only 20 per page.
I prefer to see them all on 1 page, I believe I use to set it to view 100 posts per page.
if its in the setting somewhere then I'm an Idiot as I cannot find it
Tia,
Tim

Yes there is a setting you can change on your profile page. I have mine set to 40. Not sure exactly where it's at. You'll have to just poke around more, if someone else can't give the exact location.

Just logged in to the new format. Looks great. One suggestion, however. I notice a lot of posts just say "Thursday at 10:51 pm" or similar. Need to know the date as well as that Thursday could be two or three Thursdays ago if there has been no activity. If you want up to date fishing reports, you need to know if the reference refers to two days ago or last week.

It will only say the day of the week if you are viewing the post in the same week in which it was posted.

If you view anything older than a week, the post will show the actual date posted. Like "Feb 21, 2016"

@Fisherman Rob...to delete a photo, go to edit in your post and choose more options. A thumbnail of your photo should appear and a delete option will be to the right of it.

hmm well I've been thru everything a couple times and still cant find it,

Not really. The orientation on the computer and in my library are all normal. The change happens once uploaded to the forum.

I've had this happen to some images before when loading to Photobucket....they are fine on device but need to be rotated once on their site.

HI PG. From the information in the link posted above, the question that needs to be answered is if the photo was taken on an iPhone. If the photo was taken on an iPhone the reason is because of the way apple changed the phone to allow it to take pictures faster. The software on the forum reads the orientation of the photo from the exif data that the iPhone writes to each picture.

Perhaps you are using an apple product or some other software on your computer that detects and displays the correct orientation for you. From the answer supplied above, it sounds like Apple has created this issue by writing incorrect exif data to the pictures to allow their phones to take pictures faster.

If you are not using an iPhone then maybe there is some other reason for the wrong orientation of the photos.

@Prairie Locked. If you create a media gallery, you do have an option to edit your photos within the software, including cropping, rotating, etc, before you upload. When you upload directly into a post, you will have to edit the photos in whatever device you are using, before you upload them. I am not familiar with the latest Apple technology that TBG and FR are referring to, as I use an Android and don't seem to have any problems. If there are lots of members having issues uploading directly to a post using Apple technology, let's hear about it and we will see if there is a solution via the software provider.

On my post 'Test 2' I uploaded the photo to my media gallery first, then adjusted/edited the orientation, then posted it here. When the post is viewed I n my computer (P.C) it is rotated 90 degrees like in 'Test' above it, but when viewed on my iPhone, the orientation displays correctly.
