For Sale: 2007 Yamaha 250 and 9.9 - $12,000

-Repowering my boat this fall so both motors, rigging, controls and propellers included in sale. Both motors run well.

-F250 TXRF 4 stroke, 30” shaft – approx. 600hrs. Powerhead replaced by previous owner in 2015 ($10,000 job). All maintenance performed and service records available. Impellers replaced in 2019 at approx. 500hrs. Motor recently inspected and sea trialled by local Yamaha dealership.

-T9.9 PXPRF – electronic tilt, flush mounted remote throttle control, prop guard. Serviced yearly with main motor. Impellers replaced in 2019.

-Boat is currently located in Campbell River but the repowering will occur in Victoria and motors can be picked up from the dealership.

I have the previous owner's service records from Parker Marine. This is what it says " Yamaha has advised that the thrust bearings on the crank have gone... Powerhead needs to be replaced". The new powerhead was installed in 2015. I purchased the boat in 2017 and have been happy with the motors, but have decided to move up to a 300.

from what i understand that year of Yamaha had corrosion issues if you do some searching, i was hoping it had the mid section replaced not a powerhead

Easy for any dealer to scope when buying and they likely dealt with it at the time. If not members on here and others have dealt with it themselves. Great deal IMHO, with my boat was rated for 250, not 200.

Thanks guys! I don't have any pictures of just my outboards but will try and load a picture of my boat. I'm going to be at my boat tomorrow and can take as many photos as people want. PM if interested with a cell # that I can text to. Robert, I'll send you a PM. I'm going to post a Used Vic and Craigslist add later in the week but thought I'd give the folks here first chance. Hoping to sell both motors as a package deal but if someone just wants the 250 for a decent price then I will sell off the 9.9 later. As mentioned, both motors were fully inspected in August by a dealership in Campbell River. The rep-powering is occurring in Victoria and I'm sure they would be happy to do any inspections that a buyer wanted. Cheers!

Sorry guys! I made a mistake in my original add. The original sales receipt for my boat says "Yamaha F250TXRF 4-stroke, 30 inch shaft". HOWEVER, the X in TXRF stands for Extra Long which is the 25 inch shaft. My motor is definitely a 25 inch shaft so I have updated my Used Vic and Craigslist adds (see below). I have apologized to the guys who contacted me that were interested in a 30 in shaft.
