Flywheel cover.. important?

Is the flywheel cover just to keep the rocks out?

maybe the cover is to protect your butt if you need to sit or put your hand on it when you stumble in the swell. what rocks???

probally the flywheel in his truck that is used to start the motor when the little dohichy is engaged to it when the little sharp pointy thing that he uses to also scrap the dirt out of his nails is inserted into the hole by the round thing by this seat that your suppose to hold hold on to at ten and two

Ya its in a truck, took it out and banged it back into shape. but it is rubbing the flywheel still, so now it has two bolts in it and is hanging down a little bit, just enough so it doesnt rub.
