Well I was thinking more along the line of the plural form of the phrase Crazy as a loon. Yours works as well though.

Lead shot from firearms is banded for hunting fowl ,not so for shooting. The idea that fishing tackle is culprit for fowl loss is crazy as there is so much lead from a century of shooting lead into lakes, rivers, and fields.

I'm on board with the last post. The lead they harvested from sinkers ,I have comtibuted .in many rivers. Now I don't contibute it the lead in rivers and lakes. How have I acomlished not providing lead to waterways? Just saying the lead and brass that made the find for prospectiors was not the ones that killed the fowl .The lead that was harvested in this post showed the activity of rec fishers losing their "N" lines.
