Also new jobs and new industries.

I wish people could look at the issues from a step back and see the big picture. Unfortunately, many only look at it through their own personal lens of the price at the gas pump or their current employment etc.

I have a feeling the world will jump on board with this... and the countries that get on board early and create new technologies and build companies in this space will be better off.
 
Change is inevitable. Like surfing; ride the wave, or get pounded into the sand. :D
