Fade to pink

So I put together a pretty nice setup with a shimano technium sturgeon rod and an accurate boss fury 600 extra narrow as a jig rod. Pretty sweet setup. I spooled it up with power pro 80 lb in vermillion, a nice deep red colour. After using it a bit the line has faded to pink.

Should I keep using it or what?

If it catches fish, keep using it, but accessorize accordingly to colour match. Pink was the new black, but I heard orange is the new black now. Ask finaddict for his colour wheel...

I bought it from a store I guess I just didn't think it would fade so fast.

Gonna give it a go this weekend and see if it'll catch some fish.

I know my red pp leaves a red stain on the gun whales when coming up from 300ft

I'll just wash Todd's red stain off the side of my raw aluminum boat. Hell, even if it leaves a stain, at least I know he was there :). It will leave good memories of another great trip with a great guy .

Sorry for all the joking around buddy.

Two words for no fading........Jerry Brown.

You pay a premium for it but apparently it does not fade.

Didn't realize you were being serious about it.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
John
