I drove from Richmond to Regina , and farted around on the way , 21 hours and just used ice in a cooler but lined the cooler with a lot of newspaper and when I got to Regina everything was still frozen. The temp outside was well over 22 cel at night and 25 during the day ........... don't need dry ice if ya pack it properly (o ya tape the lid seam around the cooler)
