These are not expensive rods but they cast way better than their price point would suggest. This would be a great pickup for someone who doesn't have a trout fly rod, or wants a 4 weight and doesn't currently have one. ( I had one of these in a 5 weight and loved it until I broke it - but then stupidly got hooked on far more expensive merchandise.)
