Well given that it would cost me at least $50 to go catch a lingcod.. and no salmon........ I decided to revert back into my history..... chasing RBTs ! Pulled the flyrods out of the closet and at the crack of 8:30 was off to the lake. Mooching a leech pattern was the killer. Tally was four 12 inch trout in the bucket by 11 am. The eagle got one that I released before it headed for the bottom. I released one other and had several others come up to say HI! .. So-- dinner will be simple- trout panfried in butter with a touch of garlic.... Simple and delicious.

and they are farm raised RBT fish .eat pellit one time you are farmed. they even have round fins and deformed jaws.
