A good read indeed. It left me wondering if body size of Alaskan pink salmon, either wild or hatchery, was also considered. It would seem to me that there would be a correlation there as well. Many years ago, a scientist at the Pacific Salmon Commission said there was a correlation between smaller body size of Fraser River sockeye and higher abundance.
I was also left wondering if the researchers considered whether Alaskan hatchery pink salmon contributed to the abundance of prey for other salmon species.
