I don't know the area, but just find 50' of water with flat bottom and you're in business.

I don't know about the Hardy side but it might be worth a trip to Cole Harbour (15min car ride). I was there 2 years ago in September and got the biggest crabs I have ever seen. Not just a few but a whole trap full of monsters. I caught them between 50 & 100 Ft. almost anywhere over there.

Let me know if you have sucess on the Hardy side as I am going back there this year.
