Hey ME, I haven't made it out at all this last month or so as the weather has been the pits combined with not much fish in the area. But I have a feeling that the fish should be starting to show up a little north of here as well as off of Bates Beach. I'm planning to get out ASAP as I'm chomping at the bit to get some fish blood on the new boat!! I've heard good things up around Stuart Island and Toba and Bute inlet so I'm sure that in the next couple weeks it should get real good in Browns Bay area. Hope you get out Wednesday and the boat works wonders! If it's nice I might head out myself probably down to the Hump or the Light House in Campbell River. I thought I clicked on reply to topic but for some reason I'm in the new topic window! Oh Well!!

I agree SWC. I also heard that lambert channel is holding some fish. On the may long weekend going to stay at either Browns Bay or Rock Bay for a few days and will fish the whole area Deep Water, Plumper, Green Sea, Chattam Point Etc. I also booked the second week of July to fish out of Cougar Creek for a whole week. Stay in touch, will chat soon.
