Comox Valley Fly Fishing

Looking for some input on some rivers in the Comox Valley/Campbell River that would be good for fly fishing (salmon)

I’m finding anywhere I explore there are people swimming.

I’m new to the island so just getting my bearings...any help would be appreciated!!

Pop into Nile Creek fly fishing shop in Bowser -the guys there are a wealth of information.
Campbell River will be now starting to get their pink salmon run -phone the local fishing tackle shops.

If you go further up the Campbell, above where the Quinsam meets Campbell River, there are fewer swimmers. Also the Oyster River estuary is worth a look.
