A dickenson diesel stove is the best heat.
They do require a bit of tweaking to make sure they burn clean.
The worst thing to happen to a boat's deck is when a ****** neighbour keeps his dickenson on super low, it carbons up and spits out black snow that doesn't come off gelcoat easy.
