Coho in the Strait 2017?

I see Silver Tip posted in the lower mainland reports that he had released a Coho at Thrasher. I am curious if any others are seeing any Coho showing up anywhere in the Strait so far this summer. The last couple years (particularly 2013 and 2016) saw a return to some decent resident Coho fishing in parts of the Strait through the summer after almost nothing since the early 90s. I heard some rumours of Coho around Denman and Hornby mid-winter. Any other observations? What will this year bring?

Last winter we were catching small ones off of Sangster, threw us for a loop. They were jumping everywhere out in the middle of the strait

2015/16...didn't get out as much this past winter...that work thing got in the way but it would be nice to know if they were out their again this past winter

Not me, but a reputable source released a coho last week out of Sooke. Just one I think.
