Cleaning non- skid on aluminum deck

My grey non skid on my Silver Streak is getting stained, and I was wondering what you would recommend to clean it up a bit. I have used hot water and soap with a brush but that’s not doing the job.

I scrubbed extra hard and it did the job for now, will try the comet when the summer fishing season is over.

This product is pricey but very little goes a long way. Only need a very fine mist to clean off oxidation, staining etc. It is a weak phosphoric acid with some other ingredients. With any acid it's important to rinse it very well after to stop the acid from continuing to work on the aluminum. It's best used with an aluminum polish afterwards to leave an even clean uniform look to the aluminum.

If you want to put some stuff on to protect the aluminum afterwards, this stuff is really good. Can look at some youtube videos on how effective it is on protecting metals from rusting, oxidation etc.. http://www.sharkhide.com/

Here's some other ones. I can't speak on how good these others are. I've only used the ones I mentioned above. https://www.marinetalk.com/best-aluminum-boat-cleaners/

Careful not to remove too much of the grit off the non skid floor - once it is gone - it is gone until to re-paint it, which is a job with lots of prep time.
