Cleaning Canvas Top

My boat top is only a year old. It is Sunbrella Cadet Grey. It’s a lighter colour as I wanted something that wouldn’t show fading. What I do find is it shows dirt and has a bit of mildew starting to accumulate, especially on the back sloper. Any tips on how to clean and protect it before it gets out of hand?

Spray nine worked good when I had sunbrella

Take it off and take to a car wash, lay on flat surface and pressure wash it. Was recommended to me by a marine canvas shop.

I just wash mine in cold water in the washing machine at the marina. Hang to dry. Comes out great.
Spray with a little 303 protectant to keep it water proof.

X2 on the 303 Fabric Guard.Make sure you get at that mildew asap as it will eventually rot the material.The 303 works deadly.Water just beads off and provides UV protection as well.Well worth the $20.00 a bottle investment.

A tip for keeping the plastic windows looking like new. Spray on Lemon Pledge and wipe clean. Beautiful.

Please, Don't pressure wash Sunbrella! Any canvas shop that tells you so is looking for business....
