Campgrounds in Kitimat

I was wondering where people stay when in Kitimat. I see that MK marina has non serviced sites. Is there another place to park the truck camper in that area? Closer to the marina, the better.

I usually go to alder bay campground near port McNeill, but looking to try somewhere up the north coast.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

There are several places in Kitimat to camp. One being Ridley park which has some electrical sites, but most are none power. This facility is operated by the District of Kitimat and has great shower facilities as well as freezer space for your fish. Only problem is you cannot book sites. The othe campsite is a private campsite at the Kitimat Lodge. Great facility with internet and Satellite Tv. Contact number for lodge is 1-250-632-6677. book early !!
Coho river fishing is great from mid August to Mid September . Good luck
