is there anywhere that someone would recommend to fish in the river for salmon this weekend?

ive never been to campbell river before - thx

Head up the river and pull over anywhere. Lots of holes, pockets and riffles to choose from depending where the fish are running or holding. Look for cars parked up and down the river from the logging road bridge. Easy to find tons of very short trails from gravel parking on the shoulder of the road down to the river bank. Check in at Riversportsman for suggestions as well. They were biting very pale pink, sparsley tied flies last I was there.
