we were up there all weekend and didn’t get any but i spoke with another crew who was into them at Chatham Point. they were taking their anchovies

Fish were showing themselves finning by Okisollo channel yesterday

Test fishery really needs to pick up to be on track for 2016. The next 2 weeks will be key to knowing if it’s a good run or not.

Same as sockeye, slow troll, small pink squirt hootchies, lots of flashers.

Any fresh reports on chum fishing out of Browns Bay? Seine test results in Area 12 still poor but current fishing reports are always best indications.

do they test in area 13 as they do in area 12? Or is area 12 just the bar for the rest of the straits?

Been at Greensea the last two days, lots of fish coming through and showing themselves halfway through the flood, but they do not seem to be biting. Maybe others have had better luck.

Maybe they will start biting after the moon. It’s time.

There are some chums off our local river mouths already and they will bite on occasion. I haven’t been out but with this weather a few others have.

Headed up to stay the long weekend at Browns Bay. Say hi if you see us at the marine or our The great pumpkin 18 double eagle orange with a 90 BRP and a Yamaha kicker.
Going to if the fish open their mouths this year. Also for the first time try some prawning. If anyone has any spots they might be willing to share as I haven't ever tried there before, not sure where best to try. Please send a private msg.
