Boats on Used Victoria and Other Areas

This model and the 32 Fairlane were brought in locally as boats for folks to charter while Expo 86 was on. The docks at Granville Island were full of both models at the time.

I'm pretty sure the fleet of Fairline 32s all had BMW sterndrives!:eek:

My aunt/uncle/cousins rented one of those Fairline 32s and cruised in the Gulf Islands for a week back in the day....they had a great time. It was a cool idea to have a fleet of relatively affordable boat rentals for cruising.

Perfect rig for those busy days at the Cap.

Anyone want to go 50/50 on it. I am sure we could have some fun. Hunt some drift netters in international waters.

Maybe even just cruise the fraser and take out a few set nets along the way.

Take out a nations fishing fleet..

Start a war.

The posibilities are endless..

So who is in?

And yes, I worked for a few years as a dock kid at a marina...I've seen some impressive displays of talent!
Which marina did you work at? I worked at Thetis Island marina in the 70's, used to drive there from Chemainus in a 12' aluminum cartopper with a 7.5 Merc outboard. Saw some sweet boats at the fuel dock and moorage. Lots of Americans were cruising up here back then.

Union Steamship on Bowen. I commuted in a 10ft Livingston with Yamaha 9.9!
