Just had reality bite me in the butt....ebay seller backed out of my auction that both eBay and I predicted would sell for twice as much. The guy lost his job in Toronto.
Reality is setting in for buyers and sellers. Real estate investments properties have a long slow fall, people who can't pay their rent and won't for the next 90 days will never be able to pay back rent. Covid Special listing..... it is going to go down down down from here.

Nice boat at a reasonable price. I would worry a bit about having enough power. I have a 24’ Seasport with the short cabin and I feel like my Yamaha 250 is marginal at times.To far to go on a weekend but if you could somehow get there with Gas prices so low you could go the long way home through the Panama Canal. That is a great price. I just sold my 2007 Orca for $91K with 900+ hrs on the engine. Looks like prices are coming down.

If you had some patience and a flexible delivery schedule you could get that boat to Port Angeles for roughly 4000USD, on the shippers trailer.

That’s pretty reasonable.
Boat prices are going to freefall. The bigger question is what our incomes and disposable income will look like. I will be happy to fish out of my old Campion 492 (that I gave to my sons but can borrow back) with a 50hp Yammy on it. Cheap to run which i think may be my future.

Stop me if I have heard this before. Like last year with the Chinook restrictions. Freefall is such a subjective word, so many factors before a blanket statement will apply.

Can a boat surveyor get at the necessary areas to tap to check for soft spots? Good price, if this checks out, needs a bit of love but that makes it yours after its done.

Over A third of the country is unemployed. This goes well beyond regulations. People are losing their shirts and the first thing to go will be boats.

I’m guessing the hours are high as it’s important to most people and the seller doesn’t mention them. It’s been up for quite a while too which is a red flag.

True, but just so many factors tho. What if a guy owns everything in his driveway including his house? Lots of people are going to survive this, yes some might have to bail out, but with respect, the word freefall I think it’s a bit of an overstatement at this time.
